HOLLISTON, MASS. Marty Lamb, Republican candidate for Congress in Massachusetts Third District, proudly announced that former Shrewsbury State Representative Ron Gauch has endorsed his candidacy.

“I am proud to support Marty Lamb’s candidacy for Congress.  He understands the issues confronting Shrewsbury and beyond,” said Gauch.  “As a small business owner, Marty is the best equipped person to help turnaround our economy.”

Gauch had the honor of serving as the State Representative for Shrewsbury for 8 years.  While serving at the State House, he earned a reputation of being a true fiscal watchdog for the taxpayers.  During his tenure, Gauch exposed several wasteful spending programs within welfare.

“It is an honor to have Ron’s support.  His days of fighting the establishment on Beacon Hill are well remembered in Shrewsbury.  His support shows that we are the campaign with the momentum and message,” said Lamb.

Over the past couple of months Lamb’s campaign has developed tremendous support within the district.  Lamb leads with grassroots support throughout the district and winning an online poll of Massachusetts Republicans. Over the past several weeks he has received the endorsement of former State Party Chairman Jim Rappaport and former Representative Al Gammal.
